After School Tutoring

•1 hour sessions
•$60.00 per hour session (all materials included)
•Subject Matter / All Levels: Reading Comprehension, Reading Decoding (Orton Gillingham), Written Expression, Math, Social Studies, Science, English, and Spanish
•Tutoring available 3:15 - 5:00 p.m.
•Tutoring is in session only on Dore Academy's full school days

Extended Day Program/Enrichment Activities

•Dore Academy students only
•2:40 - 6:00 p.m.
•$16.00 per day/ $60.00 per week
•Non-refundable $30.00 registration
•Students receive light snack, supervised study hall (teacher assistance when needed) and games
•Open on full school days and also when school is in session for a half day

Testing

Testing for the PSAT and SAT is available at Dore Academy for qualifying juniors and seniors. We also require all students take the annual Woodcock Johnson, a test of achievement, and the Gray Oral Reading Test (GORT) which provides an efficient and objective measure of growth in oral reading and an aid in the diagnosis of oral reading difficulties. Interest Inventories are also offered to help students prepare for college.
