Admission Process

Submit a completed application with all required documents (see admissions checklist), a recent picture of your child and the $100.00 non-refundable application fee

Parents should schedule an appointment to tour the school and meet with the Admissions Director as soon as possible and meet with the Head of School. (school visits are encouraged for all interested families)

The final, all important step is determining a good educational fit for those children diagnosed with a learning disability and/or an attention-deficit disorder.
Admissions Checklist
- Copy of a recent psycho-educational conducted by a licensed psychologist

Submission of completed Request for Records Form to your child’s current school in order to have transcripts, standardized test scores, and health records sent to the Admissions Office

A diagnosed learning disability and/or attention-deficit disorder

The ability to function in small groups

A completed and signed admissions application

(2) completed Teacher Recommendation Forms from child’s current school (Please provide the teachers with self-addressed, stamped envelopes in which to return the recommendation forms directly to Dore Academy…

Scheduled appointment for parent visit with Director of Admissions
